Owner/Manager and Licensed Cosmetologist
With the help of many inspiring colleagues and mentors, Stacey opened Nell’s Wigs in 2007, to assisted women through difficult times of hair loss. By 2009, she was able to provide her guests with a private studio setting, where such intimacy and discretion is needed and preferred. By the end of 2011, Nell’s outgrew the current space, and needed to be relocated. This relocation gave Stacey the opportunity to evolve her wig salon to help her guests undergoing breast surgery, and opened a mastectomy boutique to create a one stop shop, where guests can feel comfortable in Nell’s private setting.
Stacey owes much thanks and appreciation to E-Hub. E-Hub works with individuals exploring opportunities in entrepreneurship, businesses ready to launch, or existing businesses needing to reboot. She also worked closely with Chuck Brys at UWGB’s Small Business Development Center, learning the value of crunching numbers to open the new location and how to proceed as a provider with insurance companies.
Stacey not only focuses on growing Nell’s and helping women in our community, but also knows the importance of giving back to our local community. Stacey volunteers for many local Cancer organizations, such as Ovarian Cancer Community Outreach, ACS’s Look Good Feel Better, Prevea’s Runway for Life, which benefits local cancer organizations, Connect Inc, Families of Children with Cancer and The Ribbon Of Hope Foundation, where Stacey currently sits as a current Board Member.
Stacey graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from UW-Green Bay in Technical Theater. From there she graduated from WI College of Cosmetology, and became a licensed cosmetologist. Stacey’s educational background, lead her on an eight year journey, providing hair, makeup and wardrobe services with various productions and vocal groups. By far her favorites include touring nationally and internationally with Five by Design, Sound of Music, The King and I and Swing! Nell’s would not have been possible without the love and support of family and friends including the two strongest men in her life, Dean and Joseph.

She worked in various salons before leading her to meeting Stacey and joining the team at Nell’s. “I am so happy to be a part of the team at Nell’s, being able to help women going through hair loss is a great reward.” Samantha has family and close friends who have gone through hair loss and feels grateful to be able to help others faced with the same situation. “I love to see the ease on my guests face when they find that perfect wig as well as the laughter when one looks completely different. It is wonderful hearing the guests say that this experience was easier than they thought it would be.”
Samantha has attended various wig seminars, “Education is important to me, product is always evolving and I am committed to finding what will work best for our guests.” She also volunteers for Look Good Feel Better as well as giving back to local organizations.
Certified Mastectomy Fitter
I have always had a passion for creating a quiet, safe place for people to relax and nurture themselves in mind, body, and spirit. I was privileged to do that for 20 years as a massage therapist. By spending time talking with my clients and helping them identify their needs each visit, I was able to keep the focus on them and their healing.
In 2011, I began a new journey as I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Yes, it did change my life and my career path. I visited Nell’s during my treatment. I was so impressed and grateful for this safe haven during a difficult time. The energy was positive, and the people were knowledgeable and kind. These qualities are aligned with my passions, and I was excited to let Stacey know I wanted to be a part of this incredible experience.
As a team member, I am dedicated to helping you feel comfortable and safe. I will continue to be a lifelong learner focusing on my personal growth so that you can focus on yours.
